Massillon Baptist College (MBC) has
two dormitories—the Mrs.
Wanda B. Cummons Hall for ladies and the
Dr. W. Jay Dolvin Hall for men. Each dorm has
wall-to-wall carpeting, built-in wardrobes with
storage space, and study tables with chairs.
These rooms are spacious enough to accommodate
four people. Each room has bunk beds. The rooms
are electrically heated, with separate controls in
each room for comfort. The ladies dorm has sinks
and counters in each room.
Each floor has a shower and
lavatory facility. Washers and dryers are
provided in each building for convenience. A
dormitory supervisor’s apartment is also located
in each building to assure safety, fellowship, and
Godly counseling.
The dormitories are within easy
walking distance of all classrooms so that a car
is not essential. However, for those who have
automobiles, a lighted parking lot is located
adjacent to the buildings. Students must have
proof of insurance on file in the college office
before permission to drive or park on the campus
may be granted. For security purposes, parking
tags will be issued to those students with
automobiles.
Please note the following:
1. A room retainer fee of $25 must
accompany each dormitory reservation form. This
fee is non-refundable and remains valid only one
week after the date of registration and
orientation nearest to the date reservation is
received.
2. The cost of room and board
during the regular school year (mid-Aug. through
mid-May) is $2,475 ($1,237.50 per

lunch is available at the cafeteria Monday-Friday
at a cost of $2.50 each. Sack lunches may be
ordered and purchased in advance at $2.50 each,
for times when college is in session, but the
cafeteria is closed.
3. Stoves, refrigerators, and
microwaves are provided in both dorms for student
use. However, a student may have a small room
refrigerator in his/her room at the extra cost of
$5 a month.
